As this semester draws to a close, the Student Activities Board will host its final events. Lynchburg College's annual Spring Fling will be held on Saturday, April 25 on the Dell from 1- 5 p.m. At 8 p.m., SAB will host a Drive-in Movie on the Dell.

Junior and SAB Traditions Chair Daniel Toney said that he hopes this year's Spring Fling will be the best yet. Spring Fling will feature two bands from the Richmond area -- Against Grace and Colin Healy and the Jet Skis.

The Spring Fling's main attractions will be a 24-foot inflatable double slide, a velcro wall and an inflatable water maze. Additional activities include body art, a photo booth, dog tag making, a Guitar Hero tent, a caricature artist and a make your own music video activity. Traditional carnival food will be served.

Junior Lauren Davidhizar enjoys SAB's big events like Spring Fling and Finals Blowout. Davidhizar likes the interactive activities like Build-a-Bear that was at Spring Fling several years ago, but especially likes the giant inflatables.

"Whenever there's an inflatable obstacle course I'm happy," Davidhizar said.

Freshman Beth Fasbinder is looking forward to Spring Fling as well.

"It sounds like a lot of fun," Fasbinder said.

Fasbinder was disappointed with SAB's Finals Blowout last semester, but thinks that Spring Fling will be better because it will be outside on the Dell.

At 8 p.m. the Dell will transform into a movie theater. Yes Man will show on a giant inflatable screen in front of Hopwood, sophomore and One Night Stand Chair Bethany White said.

"Refreshments will be served -- everything from the traditional movie snacks to cookies and drinks. Everyone should bring a blanket, pillow and all their friends," White said.

The rain location for these events will be Wake Field House.
