LC Students,
This might be one of the most exciting elections of our time, and that's part of the reason why I volunteered to help out the Obama campaign in Lynchburg. If you are interested in helping out as well, you are more than welcome. Please contact me at lynch_P@students.lynchburg.edu or Jason Perkey at Jperkey@obamava.com. You can even earn class credit for your work.
If you don't want to volunteer, that's fine, but you should register to vote.
Volunteers like myself will be around campus trying to get you registered if you haven't already. Furthermore, if you have registered to vote and you think you'll vote for Obama, please register in Virginia.
This state is one of the most important and by going to school at Lynchburg College you are more than eligible to register here.
On top of that, I have worked out with our favorite local barbeque spot--Daddy Bim's--a special deal. Anyone that shows up with their registration card will receive half off of a sandwich. If getting half off of a succulent Carolina style barbeque sandwich isn't incentive enough, I don't know what is.
Remember, register to vote no matter whom you are voting for and if you're voting for Obama, register in Virginia.
