Can you believe that another year is almost over? That means there's unfinished nerd business to wrap up. To Entertainment Weekly: You're not exactly inspiring any excitement in me about the upcoming season when the best thing you can think of to put on the cover of your Summer Movie Preview issue is a picture of Angelina Jolie's back tattoos.
Dr. Ruskin S. Freer

Dr. Ruskin S. Freer was one of the most remarkable men I have ever known. A native of Ohio, Dr. Freer joined the Lynchburg College faculty in 1924. He was the descendant of one of the Quaker families who left our city in the mid-nineteenth century rather that tolerate slavery.
