After finishing the 2009 season with a record of 9-8 the Lynchburg College women's lacrosse team and Coach Bruce Reid are starting off the 2010 season with a positive attitude.
"We expect to compete for a championship," Reid said. With 12 returning players bringing experience and eight incoming players ready to play, the team and coach have high hopes for the upcoming season.

The Lynchburg College men's basketball team defeated ODAC rival Roanoke College 87-76 last Sunday after the game had been postponed due to snow. The 11 point victory over Roanoke was not only the team's eighth win in its last 12 games, but it also was head coach Hilliary Scott's first victory over his alma mater and former coach, Page Moir.
